I chose Desi Arnaz for my Hispanic American. Desi was born in Santiago, Cuba on march 2, 1917. he died on December 2, 1986 in Del Mar, California. He is a famous actor. Desi performed in I Love Lucy. he played Enrique "Ricky" Ricardo, the orchestra director. he also produced December Bride along with a lot of other movies and shows.

I chose Linda Chavez-Thompson for my Hispanic American. She was born on August 3, 1944. She was married and had a son and a daughter. She was the Executive Vice-President in 1995. She was elected after John Sweeney. She was the first women elected to the Executive Council of the AFL-CIO. During her term she provided leadership in a lot of areas.
